Travelocity's Roaming Gnome to Award $90,000 in Trip Giveaways

Travelocity Hosts "Roam with the Gnome Collect and Win" Game Awarding Trips and Other Prizes

SOUTHLAKE, Texas (August 11, 2011) – Travelocity has joined forces with ePrize and some of the world's leading airlines to launch the "Roam with the Gnome Collect and Win" game.  Participants can travel the world – without ever leaving their home – for a chance to win amazing prizes including luxury vacations and state-of-the-art electronics to help them stay connected during their trip.

From now through Oct. 31, 2011, participants can register at the Travelocity website to play the "Roam with the Gnome" game for a chance to win one of the 180 instant win prizes like tablets, MP3 players, cameras and digital headphones. At the site, consumers will be asked two new survey questions every time they play.  Next, they will see where their plane lands and they will receive a postcard featuring the final destination which will either notify the player if they won one of the instant prizes or a virtual passport stamp.  Participants in the United States who collect all seven of the featured passport stamps will win one of the seven grand prize trips to an array of world-class locales, including:

• Sydney, Australia on Qantas AirwaysSydney, Australia on Qantas Airways
• Abu Dhabi on Etihad Airways
• Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on TAM
• Hong Kong on Korean Air
• Vancouver, B.C. on WestJet Airlines
• Machu Pichu on LAN Airlines
• Cancun, Mexico on Aeromexico

The contest is also open to residents of Canada who can enter to play the game by visiting the Travelocity.ca website or liking the Travelocity.ca Facebook page. Canadian participants who collect all seven of the featured passport stamps will win one of three grand prize trips from Canada to Hawaii, Las Vegas and Cancun.

To increase chances of winning, participants who share the game with friends via email or Twitter will receive additional opportunities to play "Roam with the Gnome."  Participants who follow Travelocity on Twitter will also be awarded one additional chance to play.  The trending topic #GnomeGame is being used on Twitter to help promote the tell-a-friend portion of the game.
